Nestle Conference June 12, 2008

Lilly Sarikas, president of Conveyor & Automation Technologies, Inc. was invited to participate in the 3rd Annual Supplier Diversity Conference by NESTLE USA. The conference's theme was “Navigating your way to Supplier Diversity Success”. The panel of Diverse Vendors spoke to the Capital and MRO buyers from all five Nestle operating companies on the challenges they have overcome to become suppliers to Nestle and how they have been able to leverage their diverse status and work with Nestle. They Capital and MRO buyers were also given the opportunity to ask the panel how they have partnered with Nestle in providing innovative solutions that have enabled Nestle stay competitive in the marketplace. The panel also spoke to the other Diverse Vendors in the audience and offered suggestions on how to get business, or increase their business with Nestle.

Gordon Kummer September 2006
Conveyor & Automation welcomes Gordon Kummer to the team. His 30+ years of experience in the conveyor and automation industry, including 10- years of robotic integration experience, make him an excellent addition to our team. His experience overlaps various industries, including beverage, food, pharmaceutical, personal products and container manufacturing. Prior to joining Conveyor & Automation, he held senior management positions during his 15-years at AMBEC followed by 15-years at APS. Gordon will be heading up the Applications Group here at Conveyor & Automation Technologies.

Conveyor & Automation Technologies welcomes John Sarikas to our sales team.  John comes with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering along with 10 years of Sales experience int eh Material Handling Industry.  He has been successful in both small and large turnkey systems.  He was instrumental in capturing a multimillion dollar Material handling order for General Motors Allison Division.

Conveyor & Automation Technologies welcomes Lee Klimuszka to our Integration team.  Lee is a veteran in the Conveyor Controls business.  He was the Director of the controls Division of AMBEC, and had put together one of the most talented group of controls engineers in the Industry.  His mission at Conveyor & Automation is to build an Automation Controls division that supports the Conveying end as well as provide Control solutions to the Industry.  We are excited to have him on our Team.

Mike Tymowczak comes to us with 33 years of experience in the packaging and material handling industry. Mike is well versed in analyzing the customer’s requirements and identifying ways to improve production and efficiency in manufacturing as well as warehouse and distribution facilities.
